Trough chain conveyor
The trough chain conveyor is used to feed a shredder in a recycling plant for artificial turf. The discarded artificial turf can be conveyed via the carriers both as piece goods and as bulk goods.
Trough floors made of wear-resistant steel (Hardox 450) and all-round maintenance-free excavator chains that slide on plastic with little friction ensure longevity. With a maximum tensile force of 195 kN and a load capacity of 16.5 tons, up to 11 rolls of artificial turf rolls of 1.5 tons each can be conveyed at the same time. The number and spacing of the drivers can be flexibly adjusted as each chain link can serve as a fastener.
Despite the maximum installation dimensions of 18.1 x 5.8 x 5.6 (L/W/H in m), the system can be delivered pre-assembled by truck and set up on site within 2 – 3 days.
Protection Crawler
The Protection Crawer is a radio-controlled crawler undercarriage on a rubber track, which was created in cooperation with Cable Protect Europe (www.cable-protect-europe.de).
It has a winding unit that enables the wrapping of power lines in civil engineering. The casing is a geotextile that protects the power lines from damage in the ground and therefore eliminates the need for sand.
This special machine weighs 2.4 tons and has an output of 44 kW (stage V).
Remote start and remote control of the hydraulic functions is also possible in the open field over very long distances. Furthermore, the Protection Crawler has a fine control for low driving speeds and a rapid traverse for the travel routes, which makes it possible to reach the place of use quickly even in rough terrain.
Converter drilling device
The converter drilling rig was created in cooperation with our customer Maschinentechnik Roth GmbH & Co. KG. The task here was to develop a radio-remote controlled chassis for the existing core hole drilling and setting machine and to design the drive train, including the diesel engine and hydraulic train.
The core hole drilling and setting machine has proven itself as a reliable device in the steel industry for drilling core holes at tapping and setting new stones on converters. The operations can all be carried out in one alignment position. The entire control takes place via a radio remote control. The hydraulic functions can be started and controlled from a safe distance via a coordinated frequency, even in large industries such as steelworks.
Thanks to an emergency generator (11kW), which can be put into operation in the event of a diesel engine failure, all functions can still be used with reduced power, so that the machine can be moved out of the work area and no blockage is triggered.
